Chris & Karen {Maternity}

I am so excited about these blossoms! Going from absolutely no color all winter to these beautiful pink peach blossoms, is making me want to do a little happy dance 🙂  Even though the blossoms here are not fully out, they still make for some beautiful backgrounds. This maternity session is one of my favourites, and I am so excited to share these images with you. Chris and Karen were awesome for this session, and I am so looking forward to photographing them again when their baby arrives!

Steven & Jessica | Engagement

I met with Steven and Jessica in January, and they told me how much they would love snowy winter engagement pictures. With this winter that we have been having, we didn’t think we should wait around for it, so we booked a date and decided to do an indoor engagement session. On my way to the engagement session it just started pouring down thick fluffy snow “Insert heart eyes” Ahhhgg.. Could it have been anymore perfect!!? They made it through the cold part, and got to snuggle on the couch with a warm cup of coffee by the end of it so it was overall a great day!

Clint & Lauren | Engagement

I hope you all are staying warm on this cold winter day! Here is a little coziness for you!

Clint and Lauren were a joy to work with. I had the idea of doing an indoor session with these two as Lauren is living in her first home, and after their wedding it will be their first home together. I have been thinking about our first little home lately, and how I would absolutely love photos of Alex and I in it before we ever move out. It has almost been 5 year and it has so many special memories! It will definitely be bittersweet to move out one day, and it would be really cool to show our kids our first home. I really love this idea, and would absolutely love to do more sessions like this one! Even if it’s not your first home, I would love to photograph your family in your home. 🙂

Clint and Lauren, were easy to work with. They were all smiles which is always great! Towards the end of the session, we stepped outside to take a few because it was the day after that gorgeous snowfall we had last week. The snow was still covering all the tree branches “insert heart eyes”, so it looked like a winter wonderland:)

Enjoy some of my favourites from this session!

MY YEAR IN REVIEW {2015}

Wow… As I look over my year in review, I am overcome with thankfulness. Thankfulness that I am doing what I love. Thankfulness that I can work from home. Thankfulness that I get to meet amazing people. Thankfulness for all of you! I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all my clients from 2015. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Thank you for trusting me to photograph some of the most important moments of your life!

This year, I have photographed my first birth!  I  traveled to Washington state and Philadelphia, I did mini sessions for the first time, and  photographed 15 weddings. With 2015 coming to a close, I just thought I would post all my favourite photos from this year. I am so looking forward to 2016, and all that it might bring.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!!
